Diamond Bank has apologized to former lawmaker, Abike Dabiri-Erewa for erroneously including her name as a director in a company owing them.
The Punch had reported on Tuesday that Dabiri and some other proprietors and their firms had debts with Nigerian commercial banks to the tune of N143.81 billion, but she vigorously denied the claim.
The bank published the apology in two national dailies this morning
She has acknowledged the apology.
Diamond bank apologizes to me in two newspapers. Agreed they erred.Well? If you were me what would you do # if I was Abike

Which makes the small matter of her impending lawsuit against the bank a little awkward.
Just finished filing a suit against Diamond bank and Punch for labeling me a debtor .To claim damages, a retraction and an apology
