Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio left Nigeria aboard his private jet on Tuesday afternoon for better medical care abroad.
The immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State was involved in a car accident in the nation’s capital of Abuja, on Monday.
He was immediately rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja.
Five persons accompanied Akpabio on the trip out of Nigeria’s shores yesterday.
Akpabio and his team arrived the General Aviation Terminal, local wing of the airport around 12.40pm.
The Senator was conveyed to his aircraft by a tarmac bus and looked in good physical shape.
