Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has denied he’s leading a player mutiny against manager Jose Mourinho as has been widely reported in the footballing press.
The Blues are languishing in 15th position on the log and have failed to convince with one stuttering performance after another.
News made the rounds over the weekend that there is dressing room unrest within the squad and that the players are fed up with Mourinho’s methods and tactics. Specifically, a few senior players reportedly told the BBC that they’ll rather lose than win for Mourinho and Fabregas was reported as leading the insurrection.
Not true, he has said.
“I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports from some online websites, I am extermely happy at Chelsea”, the former Barcelona and Arsenal man revealed on his Twitter account.
“I have an excellent relationship with the manager. There may be certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club. But I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again”, Fabregas said.
