Senators will not have to worry about how to get to the venue of the code of conduct tribunal in Abuja to show support to their president Bukola Saraki; as logistics have been taken care of.
Saraki returns to the tribunal today (November 5) after attempts to stop his trial were rebuffed by an appellate court.
He faces false assets declaration and corruption charges.
Saraki’s previous appearances at the CCT have seen him getting chaperoned by a horde of senators and parliamentary duties have also been put on hold for the period of his trial.
Only yesterday after naming committee chairmen, the senate president announced a cessation of plenary till November 10, ostensibly to have sufficient time to fix his legal worries.
As many as 50 senators accompanied Saraki to his last CCT appearance.
Ekekeee received a text late Wednesday as forwarded by one of the senators. It was an invitation sent their way to be by Saraki’s side today.
Signed by one ‘Arthur’ it reads:
