Protesters demanding the release of Radio Biafra Director and supremacist, Nnamdi Kanu, grounded activities in Onitsha–the commercial hub of eastern Nigeria and clashed with police.
Eyewitnesses report that there were some casualties with a handful of persons said to be fatally wounded during the clashes. Ekekeee is unable to independently verify those reports at this time.
The protests also spread to Bayelsa State in the south.
Nnamdi Kanu and his disciples want Biafra republic carved out of the present Nigerian State.
We’ll like to warn that some of the pictures you are about to see may be disturbing.
