Amid all the hoopla of a political witch-hunt and disobedience of court orders that has trailed the war against corruption, EFCC Boss, Ibrahim Magu has assured Nigerians that the anti-graft commission will combat the menace of corruption within the ambit of the law.
Magu’s EFCC has been accused of trampling on the rule of law.
But speaking to journalists on Tuesday in the nation’s capital, the hard-nosed investigator said that isn’t the case.
“We have never had any reason to disobey any court order and we will not disobey court orders”.
He said the anti-graft war isn’t a personal cause. “It is not about me, it is about the desire to move this country forward.”
