Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has dusted the challenge from Alex Otti and will continue to oversee the affairs of the south east state, the justices of the supreme court have declared.
Otti of APGA has been challenging Ikpeazu’s (PDP) victory at the April 2015 governorship ballot.
The Appeal Court ruled in Otti’s favor, with Ikpeazu challenging the verdict at the apex court.
Otti’s case was premised on over-voting, flouting of electoral guidelines and non-adherence to card reader machine.
