Senate president Bukola Saraki has perfected plans to disrupt proceedings at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) today using thugs, a source has informed Ekekeee.

The senate president has been trying to ward off his trial at the CCT for false assets declaration and corruption. On Monday, an EFCC witness detailed how Saraki used bank drafts and his companies to acquire property in Lagos and Abuja.

Hired protesters also showed up outside the venue of the CCT on Monday, bearing placards and banners declaring support for the beleaguered senate president.

According to our source, a popular student thug in Kwara named “Auto” received money, Monday night, from Alhaji Kawu Baraje in his residence in Asokoro, Abuja. Baraje is a long standing ally of Saraki and a former acting chairman of the PDP.

Also present at the meeting were Kwara speaker Hon Ali Ahmad and Hon Razak Atunwa.

According to the plan, the thugs will shoot at the CCT venue today and trigger pandemonium during proceedings.

The senate president has also tried to halt his trial at different courts in the country without success.

Calls placed to his spokesperson, Yusuph Olaniyonu for a response to this story, were neither picked nor returned.
