You certainly remember Godsday Orubebe, don’t you? The former Niger Delta minister needs little introduction if you recall the events that transpired during the last presidential election collation exercise.
Orubebe is facing trial at the CCT (code of conduct tribunal) for alleged false declaration of assets. Senate president Bukola Saraki is also facing trial at the same court for the same offence. Saraki’s, though is a 13-count charge and Orubebe’s, a one count charge.
Saraki and Orubebe shook hands and had a chat or two just before their respective trials commenced. They both arrived the CCT a few minutes apart.
