President Muhammadu Buhari has returned the 2016 budget details to the National Assembly with observations on some “grey areas.”
According to Daily Trust, the spokesman of the House of Representatives Rep Abdulrazak Namdas (APC, Adamawa) who confirmed this to journalists today said the leadership of the House would meet with that of the Senate on the matter.
He said: “I can confirm to you that we are in possession of the letter from the president identifying grey areas.”
He said since both chambers have to concur on the matter, it is better for them to work on it at the same time in order not to prolong the signing of the budget.
Namdas, however, did not give the “grey areas,” saying that would be made known to Nigerians in due course.
