President Muhammadu Buhari has restated there’ll be no let up in his all out war against graft.
The president made the declaration as he broke the Ramadan fast, Iftar, with internally displaced and disabled persons, members of his support organization, cab and motorcycle drivers, hairdressers, barbers and tailors at the presidential villa on Monday.
The president took the time to serve his guests before taking his seat to have his own meal.
“Whoever deters us from fighting corruption will suffer the consequences. It is unfortunate that the elite are self-centred and they only think about themselves”, the president vowed.
He assured his guests that his administration will always look out for them.
“Be assured that we care about you at all times. This government is concerned about your welfare and we will work hard to improve it.”
