The Rivers Election Petition Tribunal has been moved to Abuja for security reasons, a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday says.
The statement was issued and signed by Mrs Deborah Musa, the tribunal’s secretary.
The statement said that the relocation was approved by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa.
The statement said Justice Ishaq Bello, the acting Chief Judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, approved the FCT High Court, Apo, as the venue for the tribunal.
