Multiple bomb explosions have been reported by eye witnesses in Biu town in Borno state.
An operative of the Civilian JTF, Muhammed Miringa, said “three bomb explosions occurred in Yamarkumi area of Biu at about 1pm. There are many casualties.
“We are trying to see how to assist the aide workers to help victims that are still alive.”
Yamarkumi is a community close to Maiduguri.
Details of casualties are still sketchy.
