There has been an air of uncertainty as to when the 2015 budget will be passed by Nigeria’s National Assembly.

That uncertainty is likely to continue for a while, if Bukola Saraki is to be believed.

The former Kwara governor and All Progressives Congress lawmaker representing Kwara Central at the Senate responded to an enquiry from a follower to his Twitter account.

This comes as the Ministry of Finance slashed the 2015 budget of the Ministry of Works from the N100 billion in the previous fiscal year to N11 billion, according to the Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen citing “the economic realities on the ground”.

Onolememen went on to reveal that of the 210 ongoing road projects in the country, only 33 had been provided for in the new estimate.
